PENDULUM
The
pendulum swings
You
feel its gravity
First
love, now pain
in it’s
place
You
won’t settle for less
than
extreme at best
Numb
and empty
but
you’ll take it anyway
The
tornado and volcano
attempt
an embrace
Colliding
with force
and
with force blown away
She
pulls you back in
time
and time again
And
like a prisoner
you
just can't escape
The
